The purple-tinted horror that has corrupted mankind!

“The Grimacing One” stands 3.5”

“During the construction of the first restaurant with the "golden arches", a hidden and seemingly ancient structure was discovered in the earth below. When the land was originally purchased there were whispers of Indian burial grounds and curses but these were ignored and waved off as superstition. Not wanting to halt the construction process, the owners, two brothers, kept the discovery hidden and paid construction workers to maintain secrecy.
The structure was a set of ancient stone steps that lead down to a large carven stone door covered with indecipherable writing of some sort. The brothers decided to attempt to open the door one night under the cover of darkness. "Perhaps buried treasure lay within?", they thought.
After much difficulty and the use of sledge hammers, the heavy door was forced open. A dreadful odor emanated from within accompanied by the sounds of "wet movement". Shining their flashlights into the dark recess, the brothers were met with a horrific sight. A disgusting and abominable purple creature lay before them shackled to the scum covered floor. As the beast's eyes opened a terrible voice invaded the brother's minds. "I HUNGER", said the voice. Before the brothers could turn and run the creature flooded their minds again with a barrage of psychic speech. The plum colored abomination told the brothers of his imprisonment by the earliest people centuries ago.
This grimacing monster had the ability to affect the minds of men through dreams but it required sacrifice. Delving into the brothers' minds, the creature instantly saw their want of wealth and suggested a loathsome bargain be struck. Through dreams, the creature would draw people to their food establishment and in return the brothers would add some of the vile liquid that oozed from the creature to some of the drinks served. This would mark the ones who consumed the ooze as deserving of sacrifice and having partaken in the "Violet Sacrament", they would be hunted and consumed by the plum-hued horror.
The brothers quickly agreed and "The Grimacing One" was now free to infect the minds and bodies of the human race once again.
Over the years, the restaurant flourished with new locations springing up across the country and then eventually throughout the world. The influence of "The Grimacing One" now secretly corrupts the entirety of the human race and nothing will ever be able to stop it.”
