Tablet of the Black Pharaoh and the Yuggoth Scarab

$100.00

A curious double artifact found by Enoch Bowen during his first expedition to Egypt in 1840. Stylistically, the artifact belongs to a previously unknown type. According to Bowen's notes, the tablet depicts the shunned Pharaoh "Nephren-Ka" who had been erased from the "King's List" of ancient Egypt for supposed "unspeakable rites" and for abilities granted to him by "the ones outside". The so-named "Yuggoth Scarab" is a representation of a "Mi-Go", a mythical race of fungal insectoids credited with the creation of the mysterious "Shining Trapezohedron". According to colleagues, Prof. Bowen exhibited a marked change in personality after the discovery of this artifact and relentlessly pursued his goal of obtaining the Shining Trapezohedron. Item # 3811-N37 has exhibited faint luminosity on several occasions and is potentially radioactive. Handle only with protection.

A new addition to our Miskatonic University shadow box collection and first ever double artifact!

A faux stone artifact depicting Nephren-Ka with a GLOW IN THE DARK Mi-Go Scarab all mounted in a red velvet lined black shadow box with custom Miskatonic University museum style catalog tag.

Cast in solid resin from original sculpture and individually hand painted (Measures 8 x 10)
