Pumpkin Knight

$150.00

"The powers of Lantern Jack are mysterious...

In 1881, legend tells of an eccentric English nobleman, Lord Sunderland, who came to the United States seeking to comprehend the enigmatic powers of the legendary Lantern Jack. Sunderland had heard that Jack was served by creatures known as "Jacklings" and wished to possess this ability for himself. He would create his own pumpkin-headed Golem to do his bidding through the study of Lantern Jacks' arcane abilities.

After months of research of various esoteric occult texts and using dirt from Lantern Jack's grave, Sunderland grew a pumpkin atop an old rusty suit of armor that had belonged to his family for centuries.

When the time was right and under the light of a full October moon, Sunderland spoke a magical incantation over the armor to summon Lantern Jack's power. The "Pumpkin Knight" slowly came to life with an exhalant breath and the face of a triangle-eyed, hacksaw mouthed Jack O' Lantern appeared.

Before Sunderland could speak, the Pumpkin Knight gripped the sword at its chest and with an unearthly speed, plunged the blade into Sunderland's body. As he lay dying, the knight leaned over and whispered, "None may possess the power of Lantern Jack". As soon as these words were uttered, the armor collapsed and the Jack O'Lantern smashed to the floor.

When his body was discovered surrounded by armor and a rotting pumpkin, none could agree what fate had befallen the "eccentric" Lord Sunderland."
